Demystifying The Problems Faced by the North Indian Church
These are the 3 major problems that churches in North India face that needs to be addressed with immediate effect.
PROBLEM #1
Nominalism is killing our churches from within even before we can think of expanding.
We carry out Bible college Level Education courses in partnership with a US based organisation BEE, taking hold of various growing small churches, providing their leadership with a bible college level education so that they may be able to impart the sound biblical understanding of living a Christian life and encourage that by the end of the course, we require each student in the “first-generation” group to have their own group to facilitate, practicing in the ways taught to them.
PROBLEM #2
Children unable to attain education because poverty in their families.
By faith, that God would help us provide for the basic amenities and the schooling for these boys, we got them out from their villages to the city that we currently stay in, in 2006.
Now, they have entered into a crucial year in their studies, 10th Grade – the equivalent to equivalent to O- Levels conducted nation wide; which would require extra coaching and tuitions for the 10th Grade. The other two boys have just graduated to 9th Grade.
PROBLEM #3
Need for an Urban Church in the expanding suburban area of Zirakpur.
We believe, it is not an accident that CityBeat is here, but ‘for such a time as this’ God has birthed her with a definite plan. This last December, CityBeat was introduced to the community in Zirakpur through a Christmas Carol & skit program. Many people from the community have asked us to continue to regularly be a part of the Christmas festivities, as it was the first time, the area saw any Christmas event of its own. We pray that our Lord brings many into the church and we may grow in strength and sound in teaching.

I would have to rely on fillers and look for stories and illustrations to cover up the time period. After I took the course, I have learnt ways to get so much out of the Word itself. I’ve learnt to deeply study the Bible and don’t have to rely on fillers any longer. I truly am blessed by the course and would urge that all pastors go through these courses.
